Most of a restoration is work you cannot see afterwards
People remember the paint. The job is the ridge pointing, the dozen cracked tiles and the valley that was a winter away from leaking. We fix those first. Then we wash the roof, seal it and coat it.
Paint over cracked pointing looks good for one season. Then the water gets in, and you have paid for a colour change on a roof that still leaks.
Not every roof is worth restoring. If the tiles are crumbling, we will say so and show you why. How a restoration runs, or how we decide between restoring and replacing. More roofs on the before and after page.

What happens next
You tell us your suburb and what you can see. Photos help, but you do not need them. We book a time, climb up and photograph each fault, then send a written price that lists every repair.
If we find something else once the work starts, we ask before we fix it. When it is done you get photos, so you can see what changed.
Not sure what you need at all? A roof inspection gives you the photos and a priced list, and you choose what to do now and what can wait.

Things people ask first
How much does a roof restoration cost in Melbourne?
There is no honest flat price. It depends on the size of the roof, how many tiles are broken, what state the ridge is in, whether you want a colour change and how hard the roof is to reach. We quote once we have been on it. The cost guide lists what moves the number.
What kinds of roof do you work on?
Concrete and terracotta tile, Colourbond and other metal roofs, and patio and pergola sheeting. Houses mostly, plus small commercial buildings and sheds.
Will I get the quote in writing?
Yes. We look at the roof first, photograph the faults, then send a written quote that lists each repair.
My roof is leaking. How fast can you get here?
Ring 0430 545 669 and say it is leaking. Reviewers describe us arriving the same day, and one had a visit within 30 minutes of calling. We will give you a real time on the phone, not a vague one.
Do you give a warranty?
Yes. There is a 5-year workmanship warranty on all our work. On roof restorations, the paint products we use carry a 10-year manufacturer's warranty. Ask for both when you get your quote.
Are you insured, and what are your hours?
We are insured and can send you the policy details. We work Monday to Friday, 7am to 4pm, and we take emergency call-outs for urgent roofing issues.
Do you come to my suburb?
We work across Melbourne, and the west most often: Hoppers Crossing, Altona, Laverton, Tarneit, Werribee, Williams Landing, Wyndham Vale and Point Cook have their own pages. Elsewhere, call with your address.
